Hazard is one of the oldest dice games in the world, mentioned by Chaucer in the 14th century and the direct ancestor of modern craps. One player is the Caster — they roll the dice. All others are Bettors — they wager on the outcome.
Phase 1 — Main Point
The Caster rolls until a number between 5 and 9 appears. This becomes the Main Point for the round. Only then can bettors place their wagers.
Phase 2 — Place Your Wagers
Each bettor chooses to bet on the Caster winning or losing, and sets their stake. When all bets are placed, the Caster rolls again.
Phase 3 — The Roll
The Caster rolls and one of three things happens:

Chance Point
If a Chance Point is established, the Caster keeps rolling until either the Chance Point comes up (Caster wins) or the Main Point comes up again (Caster loses).
Settling Wagers
Bettors who bet on the correct outcome receive their stake from the Caster. Bettors who bet wrong pay their stake to the Caster.
After 3 losses in a row, the dice pass to the next player.
